"Dear Philippe,
Thank you for the wonderful work that you did for us this last Sunday at the Millennium Biltmore Hotel in downtown Los Angeles. The sound that you provided for my band in the Gold Room was perfection. The Band sounded clear, balanced and the dynamics were such that when we went from a soft ballad directly into a rockin’ contemporary song- the volume level in the room was pleasing to even the most sensitive ears. Not only was the sound in the “front of house” great, but the monitor system for the band was just what we needed to give a dynamic performance. The monitor mixes that you gave me were just what I asked for and we completed the sound check in record time. Providing sound to my band can be challenging. I have a lot of movement of players and singers on our stage and my singers and I go out into the audience to perform with wireless microphones. In the past, for many other sound companies, this has created a sonic nightmare resulting in “feedback”. As you know, “feedback” is not only annoying to the band and the audience, but it is the one thing that will always get “the client” most upset. Philippe, with you there “in our corner” we did not have one instance of feedback during either of the shows on Sunday. Your knowledge of sound frequencies and equalization and the care you took in the sound check with both the Monitor Speaker System on stage and the Main Speaker System in the room contributed to a happy Band, Audience and Client! I was very impressed with the preparation you took for the event. Our initial meeting was a pleasure and you asked all of the right questions so that I could give you a full picture as to what our needs were for the event. With my stage plot and equipment requirements in hand, you left me feeling extremely confident in your abilities to take care of the job. The day before the event, you took the time and made a site inspection to see the room and coordinate procedures with the hotel. On the day of the event you were there at 8 a.m. to load equipment into the venue and had everything ready to go when I arrived. Once again I’d like to thank you for contributing to a very successful event. I look forward to our next opportunity to work together."
